Press release -
Visma acquires Swedish BokaMera – provider of online booking software
BokaMera specialises in helping Swedish companies and entrepreneurs with online booking. Visma sees the acquisition as a unique possibility to broaden its offering and create additional value for its customers.
“This is a fantastic opportunity, and we see large potential in being able to offer our existing and future customers a modern and adaptable solution for multiple types of booking. With our broadened range of products, entrepreneurs can focus on what's most important for them – to start, run and develop their companies,” said Charlotte von Sydow, Managing Director at Visma Spcs.
BokaMera has focused on product development for the last couple of years, resulting in a modern and technical solution. The way people book time slots and integrate with companies is expected to change fundamentally in the next couple of years. People will expect individual options, multiple alternatives, different possibilities for payment, reminders and details concerning the booking when they book their time slots.
BokaMera has over 6 000 customers using their platform today. Together, Visma and BokaMera see significant potential in increasing the number of customers using the platform.
“We are very pleased to become a part of the Visma Group and look forward to advancing and creating new solutions in collaboration with Visma Spcs. Our vision has always been to have a booking system that focuses on the user. The platform we offer is used both by small and medium-large companies, and it’s also suitable for associations. We look forward to becoming a part of a strong brand like Visma,” said Kristian Bendrén, Managing Director at BokaMera.
